Tomoe Nanamura (七村 知恵 Nanamura Tomoe) was one of the five kidnapped girls from Rougetsu Island. Along with Ruka Minazuki, Madoka Tsukimori, Marie Shinomiya and Misaki Asou, she was found by Choushiro Kirishima. Tomoe died 10 years later, presumably from Moonlight Syndrome.

Past[]

Tomoe was a patient at Haibara Hospital suffering from Moonlight Syndrome. She, along with five other young girls, were selected to participate as a Kanade  in the Kiraigou by Shigeto Haibara. Kidnapped by You Haibara, they were dressed and performed the ceremony. However, the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse the Utsawa, Sakuya Haibara, was wearing broke, and caused the five girls, Tomoe included, to collapse and lose the memories of their lives up until the point of the ritual.

Shoji Katagiri, Haibara's assistant, upon discovering the girls' location, tipped off the Island's police, and Choushiro Kirishima was able to locate and rescue the girls in the sub-basement underneath the hospital.

Ten years later, in 1980, Tomoe was found dead inside a closet when she was hospitalized for unknown reasons. Her face bore a twisted expression and her hands were covering her eyes, similar to the state of which the islanders of Rougetsu Island were found 8 years earlier.
