The Great Hall is a room in the Kurosawa House in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly. This room returns in Fatal Frame III: The Tormented and Fatal Frame II: Deep Crimson Butterfly.
The corrupted ghosts of Sae Kurosawa and the Kusabi return from the Hellish Abyss, after being sacrificed in two separate rituals, to this very room and massacred the Kurosawa family and other villagers there.
Masumi Makimura came here during his investigation of the Kurosawa House, and was killed in the closet by the Kusabi.
It reappears in Fatal Frame III, as a part of Kei and Mio Amakura's dream.

Bloody hands appearing around Mayu when taking a picture of her while in the Great Hall of the Kurosawa House.
If you bring Mayu into this room and take a picture of her, bloody hands will appear around her in the picture. This seems to happen every time you take a picture of her in this room and this room alone of the building.
