Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse released worldwide for Switch, PC, PS4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S!!
In the fall of 2022, Koei Tecmo announced a remake of Fatal Frame IV with plans to be released worldwide, released 15 years after the original. They stated they were inspired to re release the game after the success of the Maiden of Black Water's port. The game released on March 9th, 2023 including both physical and digital copies. Pre order bonuses that included artwork and the soundtrack, and other in game costumes. This is the only title to not have an English dub, instead keeping the Japanese voices and translating the subtitles and all text.
Released on January 30th, 2024 it is available on Amazon or the Crunchyroll Store to be purchased. Based on the Fatal Frame novel Fatal Frame: A Curse Affecting Only Girls. The film was initially released in Asia in 2014 and met with positive reviews and decent financial success. Synopsis: The most popular girl at a Catholic Boarding School, Aya, suddenly locks herself in her room. After this other students begin to see her ghost, who tell the girls to kiss her photo at midnight. Anyone who does ends up becoming spirited away. Meanwhile, another girl, Michi, suddenly witnesses her friend disappear right in front of her, leading her to get to the bottom of this curse and stop it before more girls are lost.
