Female Head is a hostile female spirit in Fatal Frame.
Background
At some point she was present during the failed malice. While her death is unknown, it is assumed that her head was cut off by the Himuro Family Master after he went insane and murdered everyone.
In Fatal Frame
She is encountered in the Stairway room, (next to the Fish Tank Room) where her head is rolling up the stairs (yes, rolling UP!). Miku can take a picture of her, after she does the female head will attack Miku. At the final night, where Miku is looking in a small hole, the female head appears in front of her. Later on she is never seen again.
