Bound Diary 1 is a notebook in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly.
Fatal Frame IIEdit
|If we perform the Crimson Sacrifice, then Yae and Sae will not need to
go through with the ritual.
But if our ritual fails, they will be the only ones left for the next sacrifice.
I have to get Yae and Sae out of this village.
The horror has to stop.
I cannot let Yae and Sae suffer like this...
The old passageway under Kureha Shrine has been sealed ever since some twins tried to escape through there long ago.
The Ceremony Master said that they were killed by a cave-in during their escape.
Although the path is sealed, a passageway still leads out. Opening the seal should make it possible to leave the village.
The pinwheel keys that open the seal have been handed down through the families of four Veiled Priests.
I was able to find the pinwheel for this family in the storehouse.
After passing through a passageway, you only have to run through the forest, and remember to never look back.
But will those two have the willpower necessary?
Fatal Frame II: Deep Crimson ButterflyEdit
|If we are offered as Crimson Sacrifices, then Yae and Sae"s ceremony will not have to take place.
But if our ceremony fails... the villagers will surely turn to them next.
There's only one thing for it. Yae and Sae must escape this village.
We can't go on like this. There must be another way.
I won't allow Yae and Sae to think this is their fate.
The deep path connected to Kureha Shrine has been sealed ever since a set of twins tried to escape through it.
The high priest says that these twins died when an underground tunnel collapsed as they were escaping.
The mournful priests then sealed off the path using the decayed tree, a tribute to the remaining.
The deep path may be sealed, but it still leads out of the village. If it could be opened up, then it could be used as a way to escape this place. The pinwheel crests that are used to unseal the the deep path are kept in the houses of the four veiled priests.
I managed to find my family's crest. It was kept in the storehouse.
When one has made it through the deep path, there's nothing for it but to flee through the forest.
Turning back is not an option.
Would they be able to do that? Those two kind souls...?
